Welcome to the SasView Contributor Camp
When: 7-10 January
Where: at LINXS, Scheelevägen 19, Lund
The SasView Contributor Camp will take place on January 9-10, 2025 at LINXS venue in Lund, Sweden. It offers a great opportunity for anyone interested in small-angle scattering data analysis to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the development of the SasView software (www.sasview.org). The camp will feature hands-on sessions, including a general presentation on SasView, an introduction for new contributors, and tutorials on using Python with SasView and how to create custom models.
Day two will provide an opportunity to dive deeper into the SasView toolset with activities like model documentation review, discussions around Shapespyer. For those looking to contribute to open-source projects, the event will also include a "Good first issue" pair programming session and ongoing support for tackling development tasks.
If you're a developer with some experience coding in SasView, the camp also has dedicated coding sessions on January 7-8. These sessions are perfect for anyone looking to contribute to SasView or enhance their coding skills in this scientific software space.
The SasView Contributor Camp will be followed by SAS Data Clinic, which has a separate registration page.
