Description

On Monday 22nd June, a one-day introductory workshop will be held in Lund by LINXS (Lund Institute of Advanced Neutron and X-ray Science) in conjunction with SXNS16. The workshop is aimed at students and scientists new to the surface x-ray and neutron scattering techniques covered by the SXNS16 conference.

The workshop will include a series of introductory lectures providing a technical grounding in key surface scattering techniques: reflectometry, grazing incidence small angle scattering and surface diffraction.

Speakers
Peter Müller-Buschbaum (TUM, Germany)
Robert Feidenhans’l (XFEL, Germany)
Ka Yee Lee (University of Chicago, USA)
Francesco Carla (Diamond Light Source, UK)

When: Monday, June 22, 10.00 - 16.00
Where: LINXS, 5th floor, Ideon Delta 5, Scheelevägen 19, Lund
