QUANTIM Hackathon: 3D visual annotations

Image visualisation/quantification experts meet scientists with 3D data, they work together to establish a plan how to visualise, quantify and finally interpret the scientific content in the images. Setting up collaborations is one usual outcome after a 1.5 days of sitting together in one room.

Thursday 12 March

14:00 → 14:30 welcome coffee and introduction to the hackathon concept

14:30 → 15:20 plenary: Data owners describe their data and objectives (10 min each)

15:20 → 16:20 plenary: image analysis experts give an overview of visual analysis tools

16:20 → 16:30 fruit, coffee and finding the teams

16:30 → 19:00 work in teams: start exploring data / inspect with various tools

19:00 → 20:00 dinner at LINXS

Friday 13 March

08:30 → 09:00 wake-up tea

09:00 → 09:30 plenary: a short session to plan the next hours

09:30 → 11:15 work in teams: finishing work and prepare continuation plan

11:15 → 12:00 plenary discussion to summarise the work done and how to continue

12:00 → 13:00 Lunch
